Nelson Lakes Shuttles provide trampers / hiking transport to the Cobb Valley Tracks in Kahurangi National Park.This valley is one of the best kept secrets of Kahurangi National Park. New Zealanders have played in this remote part of the Northern South Island for many years. Accessed by the many tracks or wilderness routes, it offers challenges for the novice or experienced trampers / hikers a like.
The road in is not for the feint hearted. A engineering feat in it's day this road is very narrow and windy. But treated with caution the 1 hour journey from the main highway is spectacular. Better viewed from the passenger seat and not from the drivers seat.
We operate when you want to travel and are available anytime of the day or year.
We have tramped most of the tracks in the Cobb Valley region and only to happy give out free information on tracks. The Heaphy, Leslie Karamea, Wangapeka, Nelson Lakes and Abel Tasman area our specialty.
Flying into Nelson or Blenheim ? We can pick up any cooking fuel or gas that you might need for your trip.
Need to hire a mountain radio or personal locator beacon ? Contact us and we can arrange to have one available when we pick you up.
